If you enjoy meat then surely one of the best ways to eat it would be on the farm where it was raised.
The next step on our farming journey is our own small restaurant. That may be an overly grand way of describing what we have in mind. As soon as we can we'll open our farmhouse kitchen as, what we feel is, a unique local eatery. The plan is serve a hearty breakfast/brunch in a wonderful part of the world on Saturday and Sunday.
The menu will be based on our free range bacon and pork, so a well presented Yorkshire breakfast, bacon and pancakes and other combinations will be available.
There are eight places at our table and I think we'll price on a place basis, so a meal with tea and coffee etc etc for one consolidated price.
